  Suzie Burgoyne-Pilcher - Director of Practice Operations Suzie has over 30 years of experience in many facets of the dental field. She started as a Registered Dental Assistant in California and moved to a Business Assistant position for many of the dental disciplines. She has also worked as a dental software trainer for Dentech in four states helping implement the software to its fullest capacity for each client office. Suzie is excited about her position with Pittenger Family Dentistry, and the possibilities of helping many families reach their optimal dental health. She will be able to assist patients in understanding their dental insurance, and answer any questions they may have about their dental treatments. With her enthusiasm, she hopes to motivate patients to pursue treatment and reach their dental goals. Eugene C. Pilcher, MBA Eugene is the Front Office Coordinator in the Smyrna office. His responsibilities include accommodating patients appointment desires, their being seen promptly and keeping records/ treatments on track and up to date. Eugene has a high energy level and a dry sense of humor. He has 28 years experience as CEO and owner of ECP Enterprises which brings a wealth of business experience to the office. Virginia Haggard Virginia is Dr Gina Pittenger's Registered Dental Assistant and has over 4 years of dental experience. Virginia is dedicated to quality dental care and exudes a kind professional, and caring personality. She has spent a large portion of her career helping children understand their dental treatment, and making it positive experience every time they come into our office. Deborah Dodson Deborah is a Registered Dental Hygienist for Pittenger Family Dentistry. Graduating third in her class with a B.S. Degree in Dental Hygiene from UT’s College of Dentistry, Memphis, she is fully dedicated to maintaining the stringent continuing education requirements for both Dental Hygiene certification and CPR. She is very friendly and strives at providing the highest quality professional dental care to children and adults. She is fully skilled and efficient in techniques in support of the delivery of the latest care modalities. Deborah is broadly recognized as a dedicated educator and advocate regarding patient fulfillment of responsibilities for dental hygiene home care procedures. Ernestine Irwin Having served as a business Assistant in dental practices for more than 7 years, Ernestine is excited about her position as Office Coordinator. She is eager to assist you with scheduling, insurance questions, insurance filing, working out treatment plans and payment arrangements. April Lewis April has worked in the dental field for over 10 years. Following graduation from Tallahassee Community College she began her career as a certified orthodontic assistant / lab technician. Soon she switched to dental assisting for a periodontist and now is a Registered Dental Hygienist. April grew up in Tennessee and has lived in Indiana, Missouri, and Florida but says, “there’s no place like home-in the Music City Capital of the World!†April enjoys concerts, road trips, receiving flowers and hearing great jokes. Come in and tell her yours! Gina Marie Conrad Gina has been a dental assistant since 1990 becoming Certified in 1996. She received her EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) certification in Florida in 1991 and is currently applying for a fellowship in Dental Assisting in the State of Tennessee. Currently, she serves as President of the 4TH District Dental Assistant Association and remains active in all RDA association activities. Gina loves to teach students and explore new things for the benefit of patients and to satisfy her own joy of learning.
